About The Position
Peterson Health is hiring a full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Kerrville, Texas. The role works three 12-hour night shifts, from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The Registered Nurse assesses each patient's needs and plans care addressing spiritual, emotional, physiological, and psychosocial needs. The nurse evaluates responses to care and documents them in the patient record. A sign-on bonus is currently available for qualifying full-time ED RNs. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge and ability to perform skills required for unit-specific competencies.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse licensure and CPR certification.
- Obtain ACLS and PALS within one year of employment and renew them within two months of the recommended renewal date.
- Knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients.
Nice To Haves
- TNCC and ENPC.
- CEN certification.
- One year of emergency department experience.
Responsibilities
