About The Position

Peterson Health is hiring a full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Kerrville, Texas. The role works three 12-hour night shifts, from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The Registered Nurse assesses each patient's needs and plans care to address spiritual, emotional, physiological, and psychosocial needs. The nurse evaluates responses to care and documents them in the patient record. A sign-on bonus is currently offered to qualifying full-time ED RNs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge and ability to perform skills necessary for unit-specific competencies.
• Current Texas Registered Nurse licensure and CPR certification.
• Obtain ACLS and PALS within one year of employment, and renew within two months of the recommended renewal date.
• Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients.

Nice To Haves

• TNCC and ENPC.
• CEN certification.
• One year of ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient's needs.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients.
