ER RN - Emergency Room Registered Nurse
About The Position
MercyOne is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide emergency nursing care. The role serves patients in the MercyOne Genesis health system, which serves a 17-county bi-state region around the Quad Cities and surrounding Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois communities. The position is part time and scheduled PRN, as needed, on a rotating shift. The nurse assesses patients, develops and implements emergency care plans, delivers interventions, evaluates responses, and coordinates care. The role also emphasizes culturally sensitive, age-appropriate care, safety, regulatory compliance, and professional nursing standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Current Iowa RN license or compact-state registered nurse licensure issued or defined by the State of Iowa.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
