About The Position
Peterson Health is hiring a full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Kerrville, Texas. The role involves assessing each patient's needs, planning care that addresses spiritual, emotional, physiological, and psychosocial needs, and evaluating and documenting the patient's response in the medical record. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts, from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. A sign-on bonus is currently offered to qualifying full-time ED RNs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge and ability to perform the skills necessary for unit-specific competencies.
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and CPR certification.
- Obtain ACLS and PALS within one year of employment and renew within two months of the recommended renewal date.
- Knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients.
Nice To Haves
- TNCC and ENPC.
- CEN certification.
- One year of emergency department experience.
Responsibilities
