About The Position

MercyOne is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Davenport and Bettendorf Emergency departments. The role provides emergency nursing care, including assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, delivering timely interventions, coordinating care, and evaluating patient responses. The schedule is a 12-hour night shift from 1900 to 0730, 36 hours per week across three shifts, with a choice of working every second or third weekend and a holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Current Iowa RN license required; Illinois RN license required within one year.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required only if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter – Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training within three months of hire.
• High language ability, intermediate to high math ability, and high critical-thinking ability.
• Basic computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
