About The Position

This role is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and coordinating the system-wide emergency preparedness program for FMOL Health, encompassing hospitals, neighborhood locations, and support/administration locations. The objective is to ensure compliance with all regional, state, and industry regulatory organizations, including the Louisiana Department of Public Health, Joint Commission, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The position oversees the management of emergency management planning to ensure cohesion across departments, manages the training and exercise program to meet regulatory requirements and maintain system capability, and oversees the suite of emergency management disaster equipment, including vehicles and trailers, across all locations.

Requirements

• Experience in emergency preparedness and business continuity program management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance organizations such as Louisiana Department of Public Health, Joint Commission, and FEMA.
• Experience in managing training and exercise programs.
• Experience in managing disaster equipment, vehicles, and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, manage, and coordinate the system-wide emergency preparedness program for FMOL Health.
• Ensure compliance with regional, state, and industry regulatory organizations (e.g., Louisiana Department of Public Health, Joint Commission, FEMA).
• Oversee the management of emergency management planning for horizontal and vertical plan cohesion across departments.
• Oversee the system-wide emergency management training and exercise program.
• Manage the suite of emergency management disaster equipment across all locations, including vehicles and trailers.
