The Emergency Preparedness Program partners with healthcare facilities and leaders to ensure readiness for emergencies, disasters, and business disruptions. The team provides strategic oversight of emergency preparedness activities, regulatory compliance, training, exercises, and incident response. Through collaboration and continuous improvement, the department helps protect patients, staff, visitors, and operations during all types of emergencies. No two days are the same for an Emergency Preparedness Program Manager. One day may involve conducting a facility risk assessment, facilitating an emergency exercise, or updating emergency operations plans. Another may focus on regulatory readiness, collaborating with leaders on preparedness initiatives, analyzing exercise results, or supporting real-world incident responses. This role combines strategic planning, relationship-building, problem-solving, and leadership to strengthen organizational resilience across the healthcare system. Schedule: Generally Monday - Friday standard business hours with availability to respond to incidents 24/7. On Call rotation. Hybrid will require regular travel to oversee Banner Churchill, Banner Lassen, and Page Hospital.
