About The Position
Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Obtain information about patient condition as requested by nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition. This position is in the 8E Observation unit at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri, and is scheduled for 36 hours per week on the night shift, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Within the past 3 years, experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting; or work as an EMT, CNA, or Surgical Technologist; or completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program; or completion of a fundamentals of nursing course with clinical in an accredited professional or practical nursing program; or completion of 90 days in the Apprenticeship position.
