About The Position

The Emergency Multi-Care Tech provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. The role obtains information about patient condition as requested by nursing staff and reports any changes in patient condition.

This position is in the Emergency Department South at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri. The schedule is 36 hours per week, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, on the night shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valuable time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.
• Obtain BLS certification within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an EMT, PCA, or Nurse Assistant, or completion of fundamentals of nursing for nursing students.
• Obtain department-specific certifications within the designated time frame.
