About The Position
At East Alabama Medical Center, the mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate health care, with high standards for customer service, quality, and cost control. Under the supervision of a registered nurse and other emergency department team members, the Multi-Care Tech performs specialized patient care functions for assigned patients. The role includes observing and maintaining a safe, therapeutic, compassionate, and cost-effective emergency department environment; carrying out assigned duties and helping improve patient satisfaction; and helping keep the department clean and functioning effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or 10 years of relevant experience.
- Obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized patient care functions for assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse and other emergency department team members.
- Observe and maintain a safe, therapeutic, compassionate, and cost-effective emergency department environment.
- Carry out assigned duties and assist with improving patient satisfaction.
- Help keep the department clean and functioning effectively.
