Physician: Emergency Medicine - DeKalb and Sandwich, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to practice in DeKalb and Sandwich, Illinois, in the far western suburbs of Chicago. The position offers clinical practice in an innovative community hospital with advanced resources and technology as part of Northwestern Medicine’s integrated academic health system. The physician will also provide supervision and instruction to advanced practice providers. The role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals, hospital privileges at NM Kishwaukee Hospital and Valley West Hospital, nurse and certified medical assistant support, and use of the EPIC electronic health system. The position is 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) with a rotating shift. The listed annual salary range is $336,000 to $408,000.
Requirements
- Active Illinois medical license and DEA registration.
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Graduate of a fully accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an Emergency Medicine residency.
