About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Neurologist to join its growing neurosciences program at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, Illinois. This is an employed, full-time position with Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group in a well-established, busy practice. The physician will have hospital privileges at Kishwaukee Hospital and use the EPIC electronic health record system. The neurosciences program includes nearly 30 subspecialties, with programs in cerebrovascular disease and stroke, movement disorders, brain tumors, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, spine surgery, cochlear implants, and sleep disorders. Services include acute stroke care with advanced treatment options and access to clinical trials, as well as conventional and complex neurosurgery of the brain, brain stem, and spine. The position is based in DeKalb County, a community about 60 miles west of Chicago. The area offers four-season recreation, arts, entertainment, schools, and access to nearby communities in the Fox Valley.
