Physician: Pulmonary Medicine - DeKalb, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time BE/BC Pulmonologist to join its growing team in DeKalb, Illinois, in the far western suburbs of Chicago. The physician will join a team of two pulmonary physicians and two advanced practice providers and provide an even split of inpatient consultation and outpatient pulmonary services. There are opportunities to manage sleep apnea patients, with no critical care duties. The position includes hospital privileges at NM Kishwaukee and uses the EPIC electronic health record system. Visa sponsorship is negotiable. The role is part of a physician-led medical group that promotes physician leadership, wellness, and work-life balance. The DeKalb County community offers four-season recreation, arts and entertainment, and access to Northern Illinois University and Kishwaukee Community College. Northwestern Medicine provides financial stability and administrative support so physicians can focus on practicing medicine.
Requirements
- Be board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Medicine.
Responsibilities
