About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Medicine physician to join its team in Sandwich, Illinois. The clinic provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural community and offers physicians access to the support, resources, and collaborative environment of a nationally recognized health system.

The physician will care for individuals and families of all ages, manage acute and chronic health conditions, and promote wellness and preventive care. The role is clinic-based and includes shared, rotated call responsibilities. The practice is located inside an NM Multispecialty building, with hospital privileges at NM Valley West and Kishwaukee Hospitals. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a flexible schedule. Physicians are supported by an advanced practice provider, nurse, and medical assistant, and have access to standard primary care equipment, onsite lab services, and the EPIC electronic health system.

The position is 40 hours per week at 1.0 FTE. The annual salary range is $260,000 to $330,000. Northwestern Medicine offers competitive compensation, financial stability, and administrative support so physicians can focus on practicing medicine.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine.
• Valid Illinois medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
