About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join its team in Geneva, Illinois, in the western suburbs of Chicago. The physician will provide patient-centered care to individuals and families across all ages, manage acute and chronic conditions, and promote wellness and preventative care. The position offers a clinic-based environment focused on high-quality care, strong patient relationships, and work-life balance. The physician will join a team of nine Family Medicine Physicians, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals, and hold privileges at NM Delnor Hospital. Clinic resources include standard primary care equipment, a procedure room, onsite laboratory services, nurse and certified medical assistant support, and the EPIC electronic health system. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:40 a.m.–12:40 p.m. The physician is scheduled to work only three to four Saturdays per year. Call responsibilities are one week of call, five to six weeks per year.

Requirements

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical institution.
Board-eligible or certified in Family Medicine.
Valid Illinois medical license or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered family medicine care to individuals and families across all ages.
Manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic health conditions.
Promote wellness and preventative care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in call coverage for one week, five to six weeks per year, and work three to four Saturdays per year.
