About The Position

This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in emergency situations. As an Emergency Medicine NP or PA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and ensuring patient safety in our emergency department. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. This position allows you to make a direct impact in a dynamic setting while contributing to the core mission of our practice. This facility is actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they address an urgent need.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Oregon license.
  • Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
  • Specialty: Emergency Medicine
  • Standard shift of 10 hours
  • Expected Duration of Assignment: 3 months
  • 10-hour shifts available in the following time frames: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM, or 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Type of Privileges: Hospital
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Number of Beds: 60
  • Call Requirement: None
  • Rounding or Admissions: No requirements for rounding or admissions
  • Patient Demographics: All populations
  • Average Patients per Day: Approximately 230
  • Required Procedures: Standard procedures including suturing and incision and drainage
  • Applicants must provide documentation evidencing the provision of emergency medicine services within the preceding 24 months.
  • Candidates are required to possess a valid Oregon license at the time of presentation.
  • Candidates must present proof of prior Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; recency of certification is not a requirement.
