About The Position
The Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide emergency medicine services. The position requires an active Illinois NP or PA-C license and an Illinois Controlled Substance license, along with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Candidates must maintain availability as needed and be available for rotating 12-hour shifts, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Shifts rotate between days (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) and nights (6:00 PM–6:00 AM).
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C); must be a Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or PA-C.
- Active Illinois NP or PA license (or Illinois RN/NP or PA license, as applicable).
- Active Illinois Controlled Substance license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, each through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Availability for rotating 12-hour shifts seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
