About The Position

This is a contract, on-site position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level provider to deliver high-quality urgent and emergency care in a dynamic clinical environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions in the emergency department. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure timely, evidence-based, and patient-centered care that aligns with the practice's commitment to clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Associate-level experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current NP or PA licensure in good standing
• Board certification as an NP or PA
• Experience or training in Emergency Medicine
• Active DEA registration and prescribing authority
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries in the emergency department
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans
• Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Adhere to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in patient handoffs and continuity of care coordination
• Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education
