As an EMT with North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) EMS, you assess and treat patients, determine their condition, provide appropriate emergency care, and transport them when necessary. You maintain equipment readiness, professional preparedness, and documentation, and work closely with paramedics, dispatch, hospital teams, and other agencies. The role requires following EMS protocols, exercising sound judgment under pressure and with minimal supervision, and using radios, paging systems, and dispatch protocols correctly. EMTs also mentor students and new hires and promote cooperative relationships with agencies. NARMC is a nonprofit healthcare system based in Harrison, Arkansas, serving rural communities across North Arkansas through a central hospital and 13 clinics. More than 750 team members provide care across a continuum that includes hospital-based EMS, Home Health, Hospice, and an inpatient Hospice House.
