About The Position

As an event medic, the Emergency Medical Technician helps ensure the safety and well-being of participants at various events. EMTs are present as a precaution and provide immediate first aid when needed. The role offers diverse event settings and flexible scheduling, allowing EMTs to pick up shifts that fit their schedules. The hourly rate is $24.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses.
• Be prepared to administer basic life support measures, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Evaluate patients’ conditions and determine whether they need escalation to emergency care.
• Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
• Work in a variety of event settings.
