About The Position

This role serves as an Emergency Management Subject Matter Expert 4, providing insight into strategic intent, process visioning, and operational performance issues. The position is responsible for evaluation, consultation, guidance, and direction in specialized areas of expertise. The role involves planning and conducting assignments, often for significant projects, and providing recommendations both verbally and in writing. The expert will also function in an oversight capacity for research projects, educational activities, staff performance evaluations, and liaison activities with government agencies and partner organizations. The position operates with considerable latitude for independent action and decision-making.

Requirements

• A minimum of twelve years of relevant experience in a related discipline
• A bachelor's degree
• Good written and oral communication skills
• The ability to plan and conduct assignments
• Proven record of high experience technical or program expertise
