About The Position

This position is contingent upon contract award and is located in the National Capital Region. The role requires a Public Trust clearance. The Emergency Management Subject Matter Expert 3 will be responsible for providing evaluation, consultation, guidance, or direction in specialized areas of expertise. This includes consulting with project teams, customers, and government officials on processes, content, and deliverables. The role involves contributing content, identifying best practices, and translating subject matter terminology. Recommendations will be provided both verbally and in writing. Under general supervision, the individual will oversee research projects, educational activities, staff performance evaluations, and liaison activities with government agencies and partner organizations. The position allows for substantial latitude in un-reviewed action or decisions, with progress reviewed by management.

Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in a related discipline
• A bachelor's degree or additional years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Good written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities
