About The Position

This position is contingent upon contract award and is located in the National Capital Region (NCR). The role requires a Public Trust clearance. The Emergency Management Subject Matter Expert 1 will be responsible for providing evaluations, consultations, guidance, or direction in specialized areas of expertise. This includes consulting with project teams, customers, and government officials on processes, content, and deliverables. The role involves contributing content, identifying best practices, and translating subject matter terminology. Recommendations will be provided both verbally and in writing. Additionally, the position may involve oversight of research projects, educational activities, staff performance evaluations, and liaison activities with government agencies and partner organizations.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a related discipline.
• High school diploma or an additional four years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
