EMBREX Machine Operator - Tues/ Wed/ Sat/ Sun - Camilla Hatchery - 1st Shift (2) Positions
About The Position
This position operates equipment in an assigned area to support efficient production while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The operator works as part of an egg transfer crew, removing flats of eggs from incubators and transferring them to hatchers in and out of warm environments. The work involves operating a vaccine applicator and egg transfer machine. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting at 5:00 a.m. and continuing until work is finished, usually by 4:00 p.m. The role is labor-intensive and requires continuous standing and walking, as well as lifting up to 30 pounds through a full range of motion. The location is Camilla Hatchery. The location is not accepting rehires.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of operator experience.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds through a full range of motion, including from floor to waist and from above head to waist.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
