About The Position

This position operates a specific piece of equipment in an assigned area to support efficient production while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The Embrex operator works as part of an egg transfer crew, removing egg flats from incubators and transferring them to hatchers in and out of warm environments while operating a vaccine applicator/egg transfer machine. The schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting at 5:00 a.m. and continuing until work is finished, usually by 4:00 p.m. The position is labor-intensive and requires continuous standing and walking and lifting up to 30 pounds through a full range of motion. The role is based at the Camilla Hatchery, and the listed pay is $19.95 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 months of operator experience.
Ability to stand and walk continuously.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with a full range of motion, including from floor to waist and above head to waist.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
