About The Position

The Multi-Classroom Teacher provides day-to-day instructional support across multiple kindergarten through fifth-grade classrooms at a Stratford School campus. Each morning, the teacher reports to campus and receives assignments based on classroom or supervision coverage needs. The position may also involve general student supervision and assisting the Principal with daily campus operations. The teacher works with a variety of students and teachers across multiple classroom settings. This is a developmental role intended to prepare the individual for a future Classroom Teacher position. The employee is expected to actively work toward and be prepared for placement in a Classroom Teacher role as openings become available. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, during a 10-month school year. Travel may be required to support nearby Stratford campuses. Salary is $58,500–$63,000.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Positive attitude and passion for working with elementary-aged children.
Willingness to be flexible and work in a variety of classroom settings.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional and administrative support across multiple grade levels.
Step in as a lead teacher during staff absences.
Follow established lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments.
Collaborate with lead teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth classroom experience.
Assist in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom routines.
Adapt to different grade levels and teaching styles with professionalism and flexibility.
Provide general student supervision as needed.
Assist the Principal with daily campus operations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
