About The Position

The Multi-Classroom Teacher provides day-to-day instructional support across kindergarten through fifth-grade classrooms at a Stratford School campus. Each morning, the teacher reports to campus and receives an assignment based on classroom or supervision coverage needs. Work may include classroom teaching, general student supervision, and assistance with daily campus operations alongside the Principal. This developmental role offers experience with a variety of students, teachers, and classroom settings, and is intended to prepare the teacher for a future Classroom Teacher position. The individual is expected to actively work toward and be prepared for placement in a Classroom Teacher role as openings become available. Travel may be required to support nearby Stratford campuses. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, during a 10-month school year.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Positive attitude and a passion for working with elementary-aged children.
Willingness to be flexible and work in a variety of classroom settings.

Prior classroom or educational experience.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional and administrative support across multiple grade levels.
Step in as a lead teacher during staff absences.
Follow established lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments.
Collaborate with lead teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth classroom experience.
Assist in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom routines.
Adapt to different grade levels and teaching styles with professionalism and flexibility.
Assist with general student supervision and daily campus operations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
