About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a K–5 Special Education Teacher in Arlington, Texas. The teacher will provide individualized instruction and support diverse learning needs so elementary students can build the skills and confidence to succeed. Instruction takes place in resource settings through small-group instruction and in-class support. The role adapts K–5 core curriculum and instructional strategies to individual learning needs, manages special education caseload documentation and progress monitoring, and collaborates with special education and general education colleagues to promote student success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification appropriate for grades K–5.
• Valid Elementary Generalist or applicable Content-Area Certification.
• Experience providing specialized instruction to elementary students, with knowledge of K–5 core subjects, individualized learning strategies, and special education documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in resource settings through small-group instruction and in-class support.
• Adapt K–5 core curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs and support academic progress.
• Manage special education caseload responsibilities, including documenting services, monitoring student progress, and maintaining required records.
• Collaborate with the Special Education team and general education teachers to implement instructional supports and promote student success.
