Requirements

• One of the following licenses or qualifications is required: a valid and active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL); an Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB), which requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education; or a Paraprofessional License and a bachelor's degree.
• A valid Substitute or PEL license must be provided with the application.
• Two letters of reference must be provided.
• A fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE must be provided.
• Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses are not accepted in District 303.
