About The Position

CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a High School Science Teacher, LTS at St. Charles North HS. This is a Long-Term Substitute (LTS) position for the 26-27 school year, with anticipated dates from 10/19/26 to 12/18/26. To work as part of our Substitute Team, candidates will need a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL) with a (9-12) Science (Biology) Endorsement, or an Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) which requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses are not accepted in D303. The Long Term Substitute Teacher rate is $220 per day. In addition to the online application, a valid Substitute or PEL license, two letters of reference, and a fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE must be provided. Requirements
