Elementary School Inclusion Aide (2026-2027)
About The Position
Match Charter Public School is seeking an elementary school inclusion aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is based at the Hyde Park Campus in Boston, MA. The inclusion aide will support the success of one or more Match students with disabilities by providing assistance with the implementation of skills and goals aligned with their educational and therapeutic needs. The aide will support students throughout the school day, including during instructional times (in and out of the classroom) and non-instructional times such as lunch and breaks. This role is an integral part of the school team and offers a unique opportunity to foster an inclusive community, develop skills, support social-emotional growth, and make a significant impact on a student's life. The Inclusion Aide is responsible for building strong relationships with students to ensure they receive the necessary support to reach their academic and personal potential.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities
- Skills to manage challenging student behaviors
- A deep belief that all students can and will succeed and have a willingness to do whatever it takes
- An incredible amount of patience and willingness to go the extra mile
- A desire to continually improve their practice as an educator by taking and implementing feedback
- Demonstrate an ability to work well on a team, and a willingness to support others in doing their best work
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as an ABA Therapist or Behavior Tech
Responsibilities
- Provide help with implementation of skills and goals in line with the students’ educational and therapeutic needs.
- Support students during instructional times both in and out of the classroom.
- Support students during lunch, breaks, and other non-instructional times.
- Develop deep relationships with students.
- Leverage relationships to ensure students are getting the support they need to meet their academic and personal potential.
