This is a part-time, permanent position for an Elementary Paraeducator working 6 hours per day at Thomas Edison Language Institute, a high-needs school. The role involves supporting instructional activities for elementary students.

Non-Title Sites: Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background.

Must pre-qualify by attaching your High School Diploma or equivalent and one document [A or B] from the following list: [A] Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam - testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam will be accepted. OR [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)

No other school districts proficiency exam accepted. OR [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) OR [C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units) OR [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
