About The Position

The Elementary Paraeducator will work at Greer Elementary School, supporting instructional staff. This is a permanent, full-time position with a length of work year of 9 months/year, 206 days/year, and 5 days/week. The length of work day is 6 hours, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The salary range is $18.11 - $23.65 per hour / $3,139 - $4,099 per month, based on the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule. Benefits are included.

Requirements

Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation [A, B, C, or D item] from the following list for Title I Sites: [A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam (testing date must be April 2005 to current. No other school districts proficiency exam accepted). OR [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) OR [C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units) OR [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher).
If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
