About The Position
This is a full-time, permanent position for an Elementary Paraeducator at Howe Avenue School. The role involves working 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, for 180 days a year. The salary ranges from $18.11 to $23.65 per hour, or $3,139 to $4,099 per month. The position is part of the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule.
Requirements
- List on application experience that is relevant to this position.
- Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam (testing date must be April 2005 to current). No other school districts proficiency exam accepted.
- Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
- Official transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
- Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher). If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, YOU MUST have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
- Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
