About The Position

The Elementary Paraeducator will work 6.0 hours per day, which is 0.75 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent). This is a permanent, part-time position with the San Juan Unified School District, located at Legette School. The role involves working with groups of children in an elementary school setting. The salary ranges from $18.11 to $23.65 per hour, or $3,139 to $4,099 per month, based on the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule. The work year is 9 months, consisting of 206 days per year, 5 days per week. The daily work hours are from 8:40 AM to 3:25 PM.

Requirements

Passing the IA Proficiency Test or having the CBEST is required, regardless of educational background.
