Electronics Tech for Fastwater Staffing

HIKINEX•North Kingstown, RI

About The Position

The Electronics Tech works within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and operations personnel on pressure-vessel fabrication and assembly as part of overall AUV production integration. The role fabricates complex wire harnesses, solders electronic modules including PCBAs, modifies COTS components, and configures devices by loading the correct software and firmware versions. It builds, tests, and integrates complex electrical assemblies into AUVs, and designs, prototypes, and scales manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build and test efficiency. The position follows detailed electrical and manufacturing documentation to build to engineering specifications, and helps develop, document, and improve the pressure-vessel production process. Additional duties include maintaining organized work areas, inspecting parts, closing out work orders, following safety practices, and supporting the maintenance, calibration, and inventory of tools, equipment, lab supplies, and raw materials. Offshore travel may be needed to support the operations team under the contract scope.
