About The Position

The Boeing Company’s Boeing Global Services (BGS) Engineering team is hiring an Electronic and Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at the Associate or Mid-Level to support the C-17 Globemaster 3 program at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The role provides embedded USAF Field and Product Review Engineering support and represents Boeing C-17 Engineering as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the C-17 Globemaster 3 sustainment contract. The engineer analyzes flight recorder data and aircraft electrical, avionics, communication, and navigation systems to diagnose anomalies, determine root causes, and resolve operational issues. The role applies Boeing C-17 design and engineering principles throughout the aircraft lifecycle; develops interim and permanent engineering dispositions to support airworthiness and safe, effective operations; and provides technical expertise to customer, design, maintenance, and recovery activities. The position also involves customer interaction, technical training, product and process improvements, and on-site cyber security functions. The selected candidate must be able to work in a high-tempo, demanding on-call environment, accommodate flexible scheduling and possible rotating weekend coverage, and travel to C-17 depot or operating locations. Travel of up to 25% is required. The position is based at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, and offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Shift is Shift 1. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start. U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance, and a U.S. Person is required to meet export-control requirements. Boeing will not sponsor employment visas.
