The Electrician will maintain production equipment by following all safety rules and practices. This role involves performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels. The Electrician will also perform emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations, accurately use measurement and test equipment, and perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed. Responsibilities include installing wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment, replacing faulty electrical components, diagnosing and repairing/replacing faulty electronic components, troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and troubleshooting drives (AC and DC). The role requires reading electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and accurately preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork. The Electrician must be self-motivated, able to follow through to completion, maintain teamwork, and perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
