About The Position

Island Pump and Tank is a trusted leader in petroleum fueling infrastructure, electrical services, and construction solutions throughout the Northeast. As a proud subsidiary of Noble Fueling Solutions, we specialize in fueling systems, gas station construction, environmental compliance, and service operations for commercial and retail petroleum facilities. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing Massachusetts team. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who thrives in a fast-paced field environment and has experience with commercial, industrial, or petroleum-related electrical systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience with gas station, petroleum, or fueling systems strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently.
  • Experience with conduit bending, panel installation, and low/high voltage systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
  • Ability to work outdoors, travel to job sites, and occasionally work nights or weekends as needed.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the petroleum or fueling systems industry.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification or other relevant safety training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for fueling stations, convenience stores, and commercial facilities.
  • Install and troubleshoot conduit, wiring, panels, breakers, lighting systems, dispensers, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, Massachusetts electrical codes, and company safety standards.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions in the field.
  • Coordinate with project managers and field supervisors to meet project timelines and customer expectations.
  • Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service reports.
  • Mentor apprentices and support field team development when needed.
  • Travel to various job sites throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas as required.
