About The Position

Execute vehicle electrical system test plans to validate system-level electrical architecture performance and identify design weaknesses through stress testing. Collaborate with engineering teams to establish testing strategies and align specific pass/fail criteria. Identify and set up all equipment required for test plan. Ensure that accurate data is captured for all relevant test cases. Review and analyze test data, engaging the appropriate engineering teams when anomalous results are observed. Support system integration efforts to bring up and debug various electrical test assets such as bucks, labcars, and prototype vehicles. Investigate, root cause, and implement resolutions for electrical systems issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience working in systems or electronics.
  • High technical competence in electrical engineering.
  • Ability to dive deep into electrical first principles to reach a solution.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DAQs, DMMs, function generators, power supplies, electronic loads etc.)
  • Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings.
  • Understanding of automotive low voltage electrical systems.
  • English (C1-C2)
