Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
Install and upgrade electrical panels to meet current code requirements and increase power capacity.
Perform load calculations to ensure electrical systems are properly designed and meet capacity needs.
Install or repair electrical service entrances, including main disconnects and meter bases.
Wire new homes, buildings, and large commercial projects to code.
Perform grounding and bonding of electrical systems to help prevent electrical shock hazards.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuit breakers, fuses, and wiring.
Install, repair, and maintain lighting control systems, such as dimmers and occupancy sensors.
Install and maintain electrical distribution systems, including transformers and distribution boards.
Conduct electrical inspections and ensure work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
