About The Position

At Tampa Electrical Services dba Mr. Electric of Tampa, the Electrical Sales Representative is a dedicated sales professional responsible for quoting and selling electrical work. This is a sell-only position: the representative scopes the work, builds the quote, and closes the job; electricians complete the installation. Time is divided between field appointments for residential quotes in customers’ homes and office work quoting commercial jobs. The role’s primary focus is selling electrical projects. In the field, the representative runs scheduled in-home appointments, evaluates electrical systems, presents options and pricing, and seeks homeowner approval. In the office, the representative reviews commercial requests, plans, and site information; prepares quotes and proposals; and follows up through the outcome. The role calls for a working understanding of electrical systems, strong presentation and closing skills, and independent work toward sales goals. The company describes its environment as fast-paced, with opportunities to grow and develop. It provides warm leads and says there is no cold-calling.
