About The Position

Regent5 is seeking a trustworthy, hands-on, and technically inclined Electrical Project Manager with a hunger to learn and grow. This role is primarily field-based, focusing on high-end residential and light commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have experience on construction sites, understand the built environment, and be proficient in all three phases of electrical implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). A PMP certification is a plus. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for homeowners, GCs, in-house staff, architects, reps, and other trades, responsible for understanding scope of work, preparing estimates, delivering bid packages, troubleshooting, planning, scheduling, coordinating resources, managing project profitability, issuing work orders, and ensuring quality control. This role requires the ability to read and interpret plan sets/blueprints, create and manage change orders, and implement high/medium-voltage power distribution and electrical deployments in a construction site environment. Leadership and team support in the field are essential.

Requirements

  • Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in Residential Electrical.
  • Knowledge of the built environment.
  • Experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
  • Understanding of NEC, resi and commercial electrical construction and project designs.
  • A steady work history (3yrs between hops).
  • High EQ.
  • Solid understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Experience with Residential and commercial single-phase & three-phase (200A - 2000A).
  • Core understanding of battery backup systems and photovoltaic systems.
  • Experience designing and working with system voltages ranging from 120V to 480V.
  • Proficient in ProCore, Primavera, HeavyBid, Prolog, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Home Owners, GC, In-House Staff, Architect, Rep, and Other Trades.
  • Understand scope of work, prepare estimates, assist and deliver bid packages, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate project timelines and arrange resources.
  • Manage project profitability by keeping actual hours at/below budgeted hours, and removing redundancy and errors.
  • Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
  • Ensure all work meets SOW, Plans, Company Standards, and Client Expectations through quality control.
  • Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the electrical, energy, and automation teams.
  • Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment, and execute change orders.
  • Implement high/medium-voltage power distribution & electrical deployments.
  • Work on construction sites with situational awareness.
  • Act as the leader and support the team in the field.
