About The Position

Berkshire Bay Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. We are looking for a dependable leader who can manage a crew, coordinate with General Contractors, maintain quality workmanship, and keep projects on schedule. This is a working foreman position. The right candidate must be willing and able to work alongside the crew when necessary to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman is required.
Strong electrical plan-reading and blueprint-reading skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage an electrical crew.
Experience working directly with General Contractors and jobsite superintendents.
Ability to organize manpower and work efficiently to meet project schedules.
Must be computer literate and comfortable using tablets, email, construction applications, and electronic project documents.
Must have your own electrical hand tools and be prepared to perform field work when necessary.
Must maintain clean and professional workmanship.
Must communicate effectively with Project Managers and upper management.
Must be dependable, organized, accountable, and able to take direction.
Strong understanding of jobsite safety and electrical code requirements.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical crews on commercial construction projects.
Read, understand, and work from electrical plans, specifications, and project documents.
Plan daily and weekly work activities to keep projects on schedule.
Coordinate directly with General Contractors, superintendents, Project Managers, inspectors, and other trades.
Communicate manpower, material, scheduling, and jobsite needs to upper management.
Monitor crew productivity and hold employees accountable for assigned work.
Ensure installations meet plans, specifications, code requirements, and company quality standards.
Identify conflicts or potential delays early and communicate them to management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
Complete required job documentation and communicate project progress electronically.
Work alongside the crew when needed to maintain production and meet deadlines.
