About The Position

The Electrical Foreman leads the management and development of a crew of electricians, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under supervision. This role oversees daily electrical work, coordinates resources, monitors quality and safety, communicates project expectations, maintains project documentation, and submits crew time cards. The position is with DPR Construction, a self-performing general contractor specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• OSHA 30 program completion within six months of hire is required.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical work assignments to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely task completion.
• Coordinate allocation of materials, tools, and equipment to maintain workflow and minimize delays.
• Monitor work quality and safety practices and promptly address issues to uphold standards.
• Communicate project goals, updates, and expectations clearly to crew members and other stakeholders.
• Manage documentation of project progress, incident reports, and resource utilization for accurate tracking, decision-making, and project reporting.
• Accurately complete and submit time cards for assigned crews, ensuring timely and precise labor-hour recording in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
• Lead the management and development of a crew of electricians and foster skill growth.
