About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join their Escondido, California (CA) office in 2027. This role is not remote. The position involves utilizing technical software for analysis, production, and quality control of client deliverables. The analyst will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the future built environment. Responsibilities include developing familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client-specific practices and standards. The role specifically supports the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team on large-scale projects, contributing to reports and design documents such as electrical design plans, equipment selection, and power analyses.

Requirements

• An ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards
• Support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working on large scale projects.
• Contribute to the development of reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, and power analyses.
