Electrical Engineer, Capacity Delivery
About The Position
The Electrical Engineer, Capacity Delivery will own electrical engineering for assigned data center sites, including design review, field support, and energization readiness. The role supports rapid delivery across multiple concurrent, large-scale builds and helps ensure electrical issues are resolved early, before they create costly rework. The engineer will review electrical packages against Fluidstack’s reference design, respond quickly to field electrical requests for information, and help turn recurring issues and lessons from each site into improvements to the standard design. The role also supports energization by verifying required records, test results, and checklists before equipment is energized.
Requirements
- Experience performing electrical engineering for data center or industrial distribution.
- Fluency in reading one-lines, panel schedules, and studies.
- Experience supporting field electrical work and energization sequences.
- Rigor with pre-energization paperwork and understanding of its purpose.
Nice To Haves
- Progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Experience with medium-voltage systems.
- Experience with power studies using SKM or ETAP.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E.
Responsibilities
