About The Position

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As an Electrical REP Engineer, you'll join a collaborative cross-functional team focused on advanced technologies. This role offers mentorship from multiple disciplines within the organization. The Rotational Engineering Program (REP) is designed to develop the next generation of technical and business leaders. You will gain hands-on technical and leadership development, exposure and work assignments across various engineering groups over the two-year program, based on your skills and business needs, opportunities to collaborate with senior leaders and executive management, challenging assignments that build familiarity with Mercury Systems' practices across the organization, and the opportunity to explore individual interests aligned with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on RF and Microwave Design obtained between May 2026 and June 2027.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the application process.
  • Prior Co-Op or internship experience.
  • Solid understanding of RF circuit fundamentals, Microwave Amplifier design techniques, and Transmission lines.
  • Experience with RF simulation tools such as AWR, ADS, HFSS, or equivalent circuit/EM simulation software.
  • Experience presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative through academic projects, internships, or process improvements.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or engineering concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAD tools for circuit design and layout.
  • Capable of independently conducting RF measurements using Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and other lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide RF and Microwave engineering support for existing products while working closely with senior engineers.
  • Test and evaluate RF components and modules to ensure performance meets design specifications.
  • Generate and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for RF products and assemblies.
  • Design and support the development of test fixtures for RF characterization.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and state of the art thinking to improve business performance.
  • Participate in programs, projects, and initiatives aligned with Mercury's culture and strategy.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical design documentation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and ensure Mercury's best practices are met or exceeded.
  • Rotate through multiple technical disciplines to broaden skills and experience.
