Electrical Engineer III

Ralliant•Hollister, CA

About The Position

The Electrical Engineer III works in the Engineering department, supporting production and product development in an aerospace and defense context. The role collaborates with Planning, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management to resolve hardware production issues; conducts analog and digital circuit analysis using Cadence simulation tools; and provides hands-on troubleshooting and rigorous root-cause analysis for failure investigations. The engineer prepares technical reports and presentations for production and development activities, including proposals, test plans, and test reports, and presents failure-analysis findings to customers. The position also supports the development, improvement, and testing of test equipment and manufacturing tooling; product documentation, engineering analysis, drawings, and design reviews; and cost-reduction initiatives. Additional work includes design and engineering leadership for Internal Research and Development (IRAD) projects and participation in Kaizen efforts to improve processes, production, and testing. The work takes place in an office and engineering lab environment. The schedule is described as a unique four-day, 10-hour workweek, with additional Fridays off depending on business demands. Benefits include paid time off, 401(k), health coverage, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, flexibility, and quarterly performance- and behavior-based bonus payments.
