K2 Space•Los Angeles, CA
•$105,000 - $200,000

About The Position

K2 Space is hiring an Electrical Engineer, Digital Design to lead the design and development of high-speed mixed-signal electronics for large, powerful spacecraft. The role includes ownership of the core compute electronics for K2’s Mega Class satellite during the first six months. Within the first two years, the engineer is expected to have flown their electronics in space and developed high-speed digital electronics systems. The engineer will design spacecraft electronics PCBAs, qualify designs through environmental testing, integrate hardware into spacecraft systems, and develop equipment and scripts that support design, testing, and operation. The role is part of a fast-growing, Series D-funded company building and mass-producing high-power satellite platforms for missions from low Earth orbit to deep space. The base salary range is $105,000–$200,000, plus company equity. Salary depends on factors including knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid parental leave, and other perks.
